  • What are the limitations of using web for creating new project against using Project Professional 2010

    I recommend using the PWA project-editing functionality for only small projects, with small number of tasks, with only Finish-to-Start dependencies and with a limited number of team members.  The reason is because the project editing capabilities in PWA is a very "stripped down" version of what is possible in Microsoft Project 2010.  If you have a project with 1,000 tasks, with dependencies like Start-to-Start with 5 days Lag time, and with tasks staffed by multiple resources, then you should be using Project Professional 2010.  Hope this helps.
