Moving FIM Portal RRS feed

  • Question

  • Currently we have all roles of FIM installed on one server except for the SQL database. I'm not having much luck finding the steps it would take to move the portal to another server including service accounts it would need to run under, etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • Account used to run portal is application pool account and it should be domain account. If it is a domain account just setup a portal on another node and use this account as an application pool account for Sharepoint to run. There is nothing else to be done to get additional portal node then set it up as per setup instructions.
