categories in Outlook 2007 is not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Categories are being stripped when replying or forwarding emails. We've set our GPO according to this link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179073.aspx but it doesn't appear to be working. Everyone is using Outlook 2007 on Windows 7. We're on Exchange 2007.

    Thank you very much,

    Nate

  • Hi,

this is normal because categories are user specific so each user has to configure categories by himself.

  • Hi,

Doesn't the GPO setting do that? Since Exchange 2007 removes categories by default, can running the command,  Set-transportConfig-ClearCategories: $False, resolve the issue?

    Thanks,

    Nate
