  • Hi naveenbaldwa,

    According to your screenshot, it seems healthy of your WSUS and it might be delay for some time when synchronize with Microsoft.

    Based on my research, Microsoft releases KB4338548 only during 23rd May, 2018 to 6th June, 2018. You could try to import this update into your WSUS and see if it works.

    BTW, I will do more research about updates released in June and keep you posted.

    Hope above information helps.

    Best Regards

    Tina Cao

  • Until you approve updates, WSUS Does not download updates. Please check below settings.

  • As Udara mentions above, update are (by default) only downloaded when you approve them. In saying that, If you click on the server name in the WSUS Console, it will show you the download details of what is currently downloading, and how much is left to download.

    If you notice that it's going slow, BITS is downloading it in background mode. You can speed it up by switching it to Foreground mode by using the powershell code below:

    $Configuration=(Get-WSUSServer).GetConfiguration()
    $Configuration.BitsDownloadPriorityForeground=$True
    $Configuration.Save()

    Please also take a look at part 2 of my 8 part blog series on how to setup, manage, and maintain WSUS. It gives you good adjustments to your views to see what files are actively being downloaded and gives you more information than the defaults.
