Outlook Trash bin RRS feed

  • Microsoft installed 10 for me and set up the email, I have deleted a number of Emails and I can't find the trash bin anywhere Please help

  • Hi Michael,

    You mean the "Deleted Items" folder in Outlook client?  What type of email account do you use (POP, IMAP, MAPI or Exchange)?

    It's probably that you are using an IMAP account, and you are not subscribed to the "Deleted Items" folder yet.

    To see all the available folders for your IMAP account;

    1. Select the Inbox folder of your IMAP account.
    2. Select the Folders tab on the Ribbon.
    3. Click on: IMAP Folders
    4. A new dialog should open now with a Query button; press this button.
    5. Select all the folders (Deleted Items) that you want to have available in Outlook.
    6. Click on the Subscribe button.
    7. Click OK to close the dialog.
