  • I am running exchange 2003

    I have a client, Jane, who is requiring that her emails, be forwarded to BOTH Jane's internal exchange account and Nick's external email account.

    I set up a contact for Nick and added his external email address and  in Jane's account I added the contact Nick in " Forward to"

    Both Jane and Nick get the emails 2 times each

    they only need to receive 1 copy each NOT 2  times

    any ideas please

  • That shouldn't be happening.
    I would check that there isn't a rule or anything that is doing the same thing in Outlook. Also check message tracking to see whether the duplication is happening there. Looking at the message headers of all four messages received by the users could show where the duplication is happening.
