    Symantec Antivirus Corporate edition provided by many universities and colleges will not install on Vista Beta 2 build 5384.

    I had seen an update posted on Windows Update concerning SAV compatibility.  I am not sure if that applies in your case but it's worth checking out.

    Symantec Corp Edition x64 and Windows Beta2 x64 not working properly. I have tried installing both version (32 and 64) in my distribution CD. 32 will not install and gives a not comaptiable message. 64 installs but autoprotect will not function. I have same version as above and am running Vista Beta 2 x64 build 5384. Anyone have similar problems as this?
