Define a default priority of the incident RRS feed

    I want to define a default  priority in my SCSM 2012 SP1.

    Just a suggestion, Have you try to make use of SCSM Template ?

    The idea is to create a template (maybe Incident Template) and you can predefined the Priority by applying the Matrix of Urgency and Impact.

    This will define all the Incident create with a fix priority.

  • Hi,

    There's no easy way to do that. In fact, you would have to write a custom control in Visual Studio to set a defualt Impact, Urgency and Priority.

    Yes, Aries is right. You could also create a simple workflow in Authoring Tool that set Priority new incidents.
