How to enter the bitlocker recovery key??? RRS feed

  • I had the bitlocker recovery key already , but the problem is the keypad shows numbers only and i received a combination with alphabets and numbers , how can i type the bitlocker recovery key ?

  • In BitLocker recovery, look to see what the first part of the Recovery key ID number (ex: 8BCDC640) is. This number is what you will use to reference the correct Bitlocker Recovery Key.

    Bitlocker recovery key is the only 48 numbers long key.

  • But my page shows only bitlocker thing and i cannot access to my desktop or whatever.

    I did a test to use BitLocker, then save the recovery key file.

    I found the .txt file name with alphabets and numbers, did you open the .txt file to see the recovery key?
