ADFS 3.0 for Office 365 RRS feed

  • Question

  • We used ADFS in Windows Server 2012 R2 for Office 365. We want to change password for the service account. Is there any procedure available for this? Thanks in advance.

  • Stop the service, change the password, start the service. Ensure that if you are using the same account for the DRS service that you also change it there, and on all nodes.

If you'd rather change the service account, you can use the following script:

    - Active Directory Federation Services: Change the Service Account https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Active-Directory-ddb67df0

  • Thanks Pierre. We are not using the DRS service. However, we used the same account for the AD Sync to Office 365. How can we ensure that our local AD objects will still sync with the ones on Office 365? Thank you very much.
