  • We have a web-based application that uses IE9, with Display intranet sites in Compatibility View checkbox unchecked.  The problem is other web-based applications require that this checkbox be checked.  Is there a way to create an icon that will open this in IE with the checkbox unchecked, but still allow for it to remain checked in the other application?

Have you considered using IE11 with Enterprise Mode enabled?

  • Hi,

Microsoft no longer supported IE9, have you tried IE11 and check the result?

Beginning January 12, 2016, only the most current version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical supports and security updates. Internet Explorer 11 is the last version of Internet Explorer, and will continue to receive security updates, compatibility fixes, and technical support on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
