  • Noticed a couple of errors here

    MSI (s) (08:D0) [10:26:22:400]: SOURCEMGMT: Trying source d:\2251c7d39a417d63234675\.

Can you make sure that KB2465832 hotfix rollup is showing as installed.

Other than that I've seen patches failing due to the DPM database not being able to be backed up prior to patch being applied but usually in hotfix rollups.

Might also be worth checking the following as suggested on download page.

    • If the system already has Microsoft System Center DPM Management Shell installed please uninstall it from Add and Remove Program. To do that select Microsoft System Center DPM Management Shell and uninstall.
    • Launch the correct version (32\64 bit ) dpmui.msi in the system.

NOTE: To install Microsoft System Center DPM Management Shell in a Fresh machine, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable needs to be installed.Refer to this link.http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkID=117778
