ADFS 3.0 Sign In Page Issue after migration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have recently migrated our ADFS Test environment from ADFS 2.1 to ADFS 3.0.   After making the needed DNS Changes and Host file configuration,  I am able to get to the new Sign In Page by entering the following in a web browser:

    https://FederationServiceName.contoso.com/adfs/ls/IdpInitiatedSignon.aspx.

However,  I have to add the adfs/ls/IdpInitiatedSignon.aspx  to the back end of the https://FederationServiceName.contoso.com to make that happen.  Is there some setting in the Web Application Proxy Server (IIS Not needed from what I read on-line) or Powershell Script that adds a re-direct to a "complete" URL that can append adfs/ls/IdpInitiatedSignon.aspx  to the end of https://FederationServiceName.contoso.com/ for a complete sign-in page experience?  I would like to have this understood before migrating my production environment.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Kevin C

  • This page: https://FederationServiceName.contoso.com/adfs/ls/IdpInitiatedSignon.aspx is for IDP initiated signon flow. It is only available at this address.

Don't redirect the anything on the WAP. If you'd like to access it quickly, you can use one of those short URL service online or simply use a bookmark on your browser.
