How to get back original email with exceeded the message's size RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I have a trouble as the following.

    Currently my users can send email with exceeded size limit to mail server.

    And then user receive the response with subject: Undiliverable....

    with content "Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups...."

    But there is no original message. So users cannot get back the content of email which they sent out.

    I don't know how to get back the original email for user? anyone please help.

    Note:

    Mail server: Exchange 2010 SP1.

    Mail client: MS outlook 2003

  • I believe it stays in the Outbox, look there.

    For this issue, I suggest you check the sent Item folder in Outlook or OWA, the emails may have copy there.

     

    If you cannot find the emails in sent Item, please check whether them are still in Outbox.

    Thank you for your information. Actually I find them but there is no in sent items and other places in MS outlook. I also can reintroduce the issue. Currently I don't know how to fix it.

    I suggest you test in OWA, then check in Sent Item and Outbox folder.

     

    If you still cannot find the email there, please paste the exact message you got in your next post.

     

    In Outlook I suggest you can check by this way:

     

    Tools->Options->E-mail Options->Under Message handing (whether you have select Save copies of messages in Sent Item)

     

    If not, please select it, then every email you send in Outlook will have a copy in Sent Item.

    Thank you for your response. The following is feedback email from exchange system.

    Sure the option is selected in MS outlook to save sent items.

    Actually the email is moved to sent items after sending, I can see it and then it's also removed from sent items. So I don't have original message.
