  • Hi,

As it is the issue related with Windows 7, in order to get the answer effectively, it is recommended to post a new question in Windows 7 Forum for further discussion in the future.

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.

Personally, you may run the driver in Compatibility Mode to have a try.

How to run an application with Compatibility Mode:

    1.     Right click on the program's shortcut or executable file and select Properties.

    2.     Switch to the Compatibility tab.

    3.     Check the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” box.

    4.     Click on the drop down menu arrow and select which version of Windows the program was made for and click OK.

And it is recommended to contact HP to obtain the Windows 7 driver.

    Regards,

    Sabrina

  • What's going wrong with your printer? Any error message displayed?

The installation instructions for your printer's driver are puslbished at the following web address

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=1845551&prodNameId=1845555&swEnvOID=4062&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=mp-88278-1

You could also try installing Windows Vista drivers as a workaround, but this solution could be not the best or could even not work at all.

I also suggest you to contact HP Support at the following web address

    http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

    Bye.
