SCCM 2007 Migration and upgrade to 2012 on a new site

Question

Hi
We have a SCCM 2007 R3 implemented in Location A. We are moving our HQ to Location B. In order to move SCCM to location B I was thinking of having a new side-by-side instance of SCCM 2012 and using the upgrade process to migrate onto the new server in Location B. Time, as ever, is an issue so I would be grateful for any thoughts on this as they will help a lot.
Thank you
Lee

May be you can go through following technet forum thread in ConfigMgr 2012 Migration forum.
I think, you're aware that we have a forum for CM 2012 migrations....

There is no "upgrade" process. You can only perform a side-by-side migrationfrom 2007 to 2012 so what you've said above is your only option.
