Need to use foreign diacritical marks for two languages (french and german).

I have Microsoft Office Standard 2007 and this does not include the language pack for these languages. I did not realize this when I bought this option and now need to know what would be the advisable options.

Use the character map, look in accessories and system tools
My MVP is for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 IT, and I am getting increasingly good with Visual Studio.
