    YOu can do this in the following way:

    1. Go to Site Settings--> Site Collection Administration.

    2. Click on Storage Space allocation.

    I hope this will help you out.

  • You can also try the CodePlex tool, SharePoint Manager 2007 .  Whilst the page header says SharePoint 2010, the tool is for 2007.  This should let you take a look at the properties for each list.

    Rashu's suggestion is a good one, but the problem I find with the Storage Space Allocation is it only details the heavy lists and doesn't allow you to specifiy which list you want to inspect.

  • Determining size of a subsite or list is not possible through OOB UI or using SPD.

    Stsadm enumsites can only give sitecollection size not the subsite size.

     

    This can be possible through Custom code. I found a tool available named “Sharepoint Space Monitor” http://www.thesug.org/Blogs/lsuslinky/Downloads/Forms/AllItems.aspx

    This gives you idea about the site space including library and list. However this exe needs to be executed from the server itself.
