Microsoft Flight Sim in windows 7

Question

Is there a fix for game frame freeze ? Have Microsoft Flight sim X set up in windows 7 professional . Game sets up and plays well untill without warning it freezes up. Sound stays on, but, I loose all control. After about 8 minutes it comes unlocked and plays normal again, then locks up again without warning.
