Blue Screen Stop Errors with Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am currently using Windows 7 Korean Home Edition on a Toshiba Satellite L510.  I bought it just before Christmas and recently got round to using it properly to DL stuff - originally the store put an English version of 7 on my laptop but I kept getting WGA messages all the time and Blue Screen events and AV issues whilst downloading, so I went to the AS centre/center and they put the korean version on.  Now I have no problems with WGA but the AV issues and the Blue screens continued... so today I went back to the AS centre/center where the guy looked at a print out of my mini dump (so wrong a title) and we tried to repeat a BSOD so that he could see an error screen (not sure about that tactic either) and it was impossible to repeat it there ( I got a collective DL speed of 10mbs (ish)).  The guy indicated that the error is related to an internet drive not my computer and that there is a lag between the two which is causing the error..... I'm at a loss and wanted to check the validity of this analysis.

My Minidump is as such (its in Korean but the parts are the same as an English one):

  • Bug Check 0xD1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff560244%28VS.85%29.aspx

To see the causing driver I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows.

Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.

the driver belongs to PC Tools software. So update the software and contact their support.
