Reports for FIM 2010 SSPR RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am looking to draw reports on SSPR to show the ROI etc.

Is this possible and any pointers

    e.g.

    1. How many users have registered
    2. On which date did the user register
    3. How many users have used the password reset functionality successfully. (Successfully reset their AD password)
    4. Date when the user reset his password (if used)
    5. How many resets were done on a day (e.g. today)
    6. Any other useful report on SSPR that might be available

    Thanks,

  • You can use Powershell data provider for SQL reporting services - http://psdpe.codeplex.com/- and then make reports based on requests in your FIM instance. FIM powershell module might also be handy:

    http://fimpowershellmodule.codeplex.com/

If you don't want to use SSPR you can still use FIM Powershell to export data and present it as you want.

  • Hi Tomek,

When you install FIM, do you need to install SCSM reporting to export this data with the PowerShell module?

    Thanks

    Hi Peter,

PowerShell modules would help you to export FIM Service requests - and from them you can achieve what you need. So they only use FIM Service to query it - no need of SCSM reporting to export such data.

Moreover, we can do something like here for you:

  • Hi Dominik,

I was wondering if you can contact me, I have a few questions regarding your company's reporting tools for FIM. I saw your youtube link and was wondering if you had any samples we could test.
