IMAP Gmail setting (as advised in Gmail settings) in Outlook 2007 results in screen for password popping up all the time

Hi Ken,
Is this the first time you configure the Gmail account to Outlook 2007?
Have you changed your password recently?Please refer to the instructions in the Gmail help page and make sure you have followed the steps properly when configuring the account.
It is also suggested to follow the steps in the link below to check the result:

By the way, since Office 2007 has reached its end of support, it is recommended to upgrade to the mainstreaming products like Office 365 or Office 2019 for better user experience. Thanks for your understanding and support.
