Johan's FinalConfig.hta, AutoLogin post deployment and 64bit Windows 10 issue RRS feed

  • Hi all

Basically, I want to build a machine that automatically logs in with a kiosk account we have. As you may know, to do this you basically enter the account details etc. in the registry but, as MDT uses these same reg keys, pretty much the last thing it does is remove the keys I just put in.

To get round this Johan Arwidmark kindly provided us with his FinalConfig.hta script which I got from the deployment research site. Only thing is, I'm building 64bit Windows 10 and the reg keys the .hta script writes are being added to the hklm\software\wow6432node (because the process that runs the script is 32bit). I have searched on my search site of choice for a solution to this but can't find anything that would work within my slightly limited knowledge of vbs.

Can anyone think of a solution to this?

    Many thanks
