information on installation of scdpm 2010 on node server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a situation where I have no other chance but to install SCDPM on a node server. In the documentation of SCDPM 2010 I read that this is not recommended.

Please could you provide me with link/information about the reason/problems that might occur if this setup constellation is choosen? I searched in different documentations I found and in internet but couldn't find much.

    Any information is highly appreciated.

    Regards

    Sue

  • Just a question...

Are you talking about installing DPM virtually on a cluster or on Microsoft Cluster?

I'm not sure what you mean by a node server.

    Thanks

    Cheers,

    Mike
