Incoming calls transfer directly to voice mail - call forwarding is NOT selected RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a user who when called, the calls go directly to voice mail. However his presence is available and his Lync client is not set to forward calls. He also is able to make outgoing calls.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

    Thanks,

  • If you go into Call Forwarding Settings, what does it say for "Unanswered calls will go to"?  Can you raise the time a bit to see if it makes a difference?

  • Hi,

    Agree with Anthony.

Please also try to delete user profile on local computer with the following path and then test again:

    <user profile>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator\

  • Actually, the problem was that he was misinformed about his phone number. I had checked his sip address but missed that the last number was different.
