Proclarity Dashboard - Authentication - Everything works except the KPIs RRS feed

  • Question

  •

Does anyone know how to cure this? Everything in the Dashboard shows up except the KPIs, which always say I am not authenticated to see them even though I am administrator everywhere (SQL server, PAS, PDA, IIS, etc.).

    What can one do?

  • Hi Incognitus,

This error is usually related to which authentication methods are configured for the Dashboard and the Analytics Server.  Generally speaking, the KPIs should work if you are using Integrated authentication for both as the KPI request for data is handled by a separate request than either the initial Dashboard and PAS logins, which is currenlty able to take place in your configuration.  If you are unable to use Integrated for both, the recommended workaround is to build your KPIs in the Professional client, publish them to the PAS, then reference them via the Dashboard as PAS views instead of using the Dashboard KPI mechanism.

    Hope this helps,
