No media quality data is available even when QoE is enabled RRS feed

  • Dear all,

    I'd like to ask what kind of setting will affect the processing of QoE data?
    We've setup in Lab and customer's UAT environment, after enabled QoE in CSQoEConfiguration, calls report in Monitoring Report > Peer-to-Peer Session Detail Report still report that "No media quality data is available" under Media Quality Report session.

    We've tried many ways to find out the answer but still no idea.
    Skype for Business Server 2015 with 2017-12 Update CU6
    3 x FE + 2 x BE (mirror), QoE and CDR install into the CMS database (the two BE mirror)

  • My Bad, I found it out the solution myself.

    I found that the QoEMetrics database version is not updated by checking with:
    Test-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn sqlserver.domain.com

    (I probably didn't do the database update after applied the CU6 patch)


    Then I stop all the FE server services and update the database with:

    Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn sqlserver.domain.com -verbose

    After that, the QoE data comes up normally! Hope it's useful to some of you! :)
