outlook 2013 send e-mail as windat - why RRS feed

  • hi,

    we have 4 computers with Outlook 2013. Three of this send most pdf attachment as windat? Why

    If we use contact - mark a contact - creat email send attachment it work's fine? 

    Mail Format is HTML.

    Our customers complain about.

    Any update on this issue? Have you got any opportunity to try the suggestion in the article you found? If the issue persists, I'd like to clarify the following question so that we can further look into it:

    When viewing the sent mail in Sent Items folder, can you see the PDF attachment is attached as winmail.dat? Or, is the winmail.dat file received at the recipient side?

    Can you reproduce this issue if we try testing it in OWA?

  • both Regkey are set, but same problem

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\common\contactcard]
    "TurnOffHoverFunctionality"=dword:00000001
    "TurnOnLegacyGALDialog"=dword:00000001

    no local Exchange. Why use live.microsoft.com
