Sequenced SQL Server 2008 R2 BIDS (Visual Studio 2008) error - Invalid license data, reinstall is required

Question
-
SQL Server 2008 R2 BIDS which is basically Visual Studio 2008 with SP1, gives the same error "Invalid license data. Reinstall is required." as Visual Studio.
I tried to use this solution http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/appvirtualization/dd334515
with no success.
With SQL installer Visual Studio is installed into C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0, and there is no way to change that,
so I copied MavVak2008.dll into C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0 and registered it. Same error.
Any thoughts?

Hello,
Two possible steps;1. Replace deven.exe with the lower version
2. Open a case with Microsoft Support to verify that everything is inorder

Hello,
Did you apply the devenv.exe fix?
/ZnackThursday, July 28, 2011 6:30 PM -
Znack,
well no, because in the document, in prerequisites it says: Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 or a later version, or Hotfix 951977 for Visual Studio 2008.
so since the studio is already with SP1 (version 9.0.30729.1) the Hotfix 951977 does not apply (version 9.0.21022.113).
