Meaning of new Office 365 Outlook icons RRS feed

  • Question

  • Purple: What do these Calendar icons mean? What is the difference in the settings or contents that would result in a different icon?

GREEN: What is the difference between these Contact icons. What setting is causing them to look one way vs the other...and what does the blue arrow mean on the bottom one?

  • Hi Peter,

In Outlook online (O365) you can see lots of functionality

the Purple color or different color means its a color coding when you have more than one calendar for example

    • Holiday calendar
    • birthday calendar
    • office calendar etc.,

Green contacts .. again its a color coding for different contacts , like

    • your Outlook contacts
    • Skype for business contacts
    • Office 365 Groups

The Blue Arrow -> is called "discover"

Where you can find O365 private groups where you can request and join the group as a member

  • Hi Peter,

Please check if Thuyavan's reply is the color you mentioned.

If not, would you please share some pictures about the color Outlook icons such as Purple or Green? Then we can have better understanding on the colored icons and give correct answers. Thanks for your understanding.
