  • Hi,

    users are connecting from home by RDP to their computer,Complain that Icons on their pc is Changed

    How to lock the desktop ICONS 
    Even after the IP connection

    Add the following to your registry on the clients, it will tell the system to save the location of icons.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
    "NoSaveSettings"=hex(3):00,00,00,00

    Any update here?

    To add, I am afraid this is not available to lock the desktop icons if the screen resolution has been changed. Windows would change the the icon position when the screen size has been changed.

    To work around, we may place the icons on the top-left side.
