  • Hi sandy,

    Reporting Services does not support dynamic hide or display the parameters based on the user selection. However, we can use IIF() function to determine which parameter values are available in the report.

    For example, if we select “True” as the available value for “Param1” and then use “Param2” to filter report data, we can use the following expression:
    =IIF(Parameters!Param1=True, Parameters!Param2.Value, Nothing)

    If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

  • Hi ,

      You want to enable or disable a parameter based on user selection. If my understanding is right then this is feature is not supported in SSRS currently.

  • Hi,

    1. Add your filter

    2. Go to parameter property Available value , Set specify value

    in label  "yes"=value "0"

                 "No"=Value "1"

    2. In you query dynamicaly handle  when parameter value ="0" include filter staements. and when parameter value =1 don't put your Sql query filter statements.

  • My report has 2 parameters (Param_01 and Param_02)
    Param_01 is saying "display Param_02 ? Yes or No?".
    If Param_01 is set to "yes", then the second parameter (param_01) must be "enable" or "visible". else, it must remain hidden.
