Forefront Clients not scanning after being offline RRS feed

  • Hello all-

    I have FCS deployed via policy with the following settings:

    Full Scan every Wed. 2am
    No SSA
    No quick scans

    I have a heavy laptop environment, and if my clients miss the scheduled scan time (and the 2nd scheduled scan time), once they connect to the network, they don't immediately scan (as I was told they would do).  Sometimes, it takes a couple of days for the scan to kick on, and it's been happening during peak times (weekday morinngs)

    Am I missing something in the settings?  It's not rocket science to configure settings for Forefront.

    How can I have the scan start immediately once the user logs back on?
    Does anyone know the process of how the system knows it missed a scheduled scan?  and how it gets initiated?
