Project 2016 - error 23000/26000 when publishing - stopped in the queue with 46% RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    Can someone please help?

I am getting the 23000/26000 error when publishing. The project plan stopped in the queue with 46%. I found out that the publishing error only occurs when I add a new resource from the Enterprise resource pool. This applies exclusively to the resources created after the migration 2010 to 2016.

Any ideas why this is happening. We are working with Project Server 2016 with actual updates and Project Professional 2016.
Here is a sample of the error:

    Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.BusinessLayer.Queue.Message:

  • Hi Samira,

hopefully resolved by now.  This posting is interesting.

    https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/microsoft.public.project.server/1N2dC6OHgZs

does appear to be resource assignments related.

did you confirm the resource is valid after the upgrade?

    specific to resource or project?

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks, Eric S. Pcubed
