Windows 10 Edge Favorites GPO creates original favorites does not update if added to later

    Question

  • Running most recent admx in AD for windows 10 i am creating a policy to apply to workstations running Windows 10 Enterprise

    all are version 1607 the GPO applies as normal setting home page and creating entries for Favorites.

    But if i then edit the policy to add new favorites it does not update edge

    This only applies to the favorites changing the startup webpages applies as normal showing a new

    webpage is changed.

    The Policy is set as follows

    User configuration -> Policies->Administrative Templates ->windows components -> Microsoft Edge-Configure Favorites Enabled.

     From the explanation: This list is imported after your policy is deployed.

    Seems you need to create a new policy - or if things go worse, reset edge (however this might be done...)
