How can I get custom presence states on Lync Mobile clients

Question
-
As a test, I've been able to set some custom presence states for an account. On a Windows workstation I can see the custom presence states in the desktop client for that user.
What I was hoping to do was to be able to set the custom presence states on a mobile device e.g. set presence to Online but say "Using Mobile Client".
The problem I'm finding is that this doesn't appear possible. To get the presence states working on the desktop I had to make 2 registry changes and this isn't an option on the mobile client.
I can see the custom presence state on the mobile device if it is set at the desktop but once the status changes or is reset on the mobile device, the option is gone.
Can anyone help and provide advice on how to be able to use custom presence states on iOS, Android etc?

Hi. Lync Mobile is not supported for Custom Presence states. I think at the moment it is only possible on the Windows client.

Hi,EnigmaticIT,
Did you define the custom presence states via a XML custom presence configuration file or just only changing the registy keys?
If you use the former then you can specify its location by using Lync managent shell cmdlets New-CsClientPolicy or Set-CSClientPolicy with the parameter CustomStateURL,details you can check http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398997.aspx

Hi Sharon,
Yes, I've set them up using the XML custom presence configuration file that is defined via new-csclientpolicy. I've also used grant-csclientpolicy to apply that policy to my user account.
So, within the desktop client I can see:
But in the mobile client, I only see Available, Busy, Do Not Disturb, Be Right Back, Off Work, Appear Away, Reset Status.
If I set my status on the desktop to "Lync Mobile Client" I can see this under my name on the mobile device but it is not a selectable option on the mobile device. If I change my status to another value on the mobile device, I cannot set it back to "Lync Mobile Client".
Please can you let me know how custom presence can be enabled on the mobile device clients?
Cheers,
Chris
