  • Question

  • is pfdavadmin just reporting on mailbox permissions set through delegate rights?

can it be used to export all delegate rights for an exchange server, rather than just for one mailbox whereby you specify the mailbox name as a parameter?

what is the correct terminology for when you assign mailbox rights through active directory via a domain group?

It can report public folder permissions too.  It can report the permissions on the folders within a mailbox.

And with regards to 2) did you link to that site as pfdavadmin doesnt have the ability to do a report on delegate rights for all mailboxes on a server, its one at a time so to speak based on a parameter of mailbox name you supply?

Yes. It does not report on mailbox access via AD.  Regarding to export all delegate rights, you can click Tools menu in PFdavadmin tool and click “Export Permissions”, and then select “All mailboxes on this server” option to export all delegate permissions.

For more information about the tool, please refer to the following article:

    Thanks.
