exchange/outlook "Must see" email RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to force an email to pop-up, or in some way make sure the recipient reads the mail.

    - pop up/open ?

    - cant delete/move before ?

    - force use of the response button ?

I have done some googleing, but cant find anything close.

Does anybody know of any solutions, plugins or some other way to make sure the mail is seen by the recipient

    regards

    Michael

  • Hi Michael,

There is no settings in Outlook to force a operation for recipient such as "Must Read". We can add reminder or follow up in sender side to remind/suggest the recipient to read it as a workaround. For example:

    1. Request a Read Receipt and Delivery Receipt when you send out this email: In New E-mail window, click Options, check the box next to "Request a Delivery Receipt" and "Request a Read Receipt".
    2. Mark the email as High Importance:In New E-mail window, go to Message tab, in the Tags group, click High Importance.
    3.  Add a reminder for this email to recipient: In Tags group, click Follow Up > Add Reminder. Then you can set it to Flag for Recipients:

After the settings above, send out the email to recipients. Hope it can help recipients to pay attention to the message.
