<"clients domain" #5.7.1 smtp;550 5.7.1 SPF check failed: "clients public IP" is
not authorized to send in the name of "public domain name".>

I have verified dns for domain in smtp virtual server, authenticated users have submit and relay rights.

The email recipient has let us know they are not blocking clients email.

  • Your domain has a published SPF record indicating that only certain IP addresses are allowed to send mail on behlaf of your domain - (the FROM: SMTP Address).  The recipient domain checked that and decided that that wasnt the case for those messages.

Im guessing that the senders you allowed to relay are sending from a different FROM: domain other than yours and thats why it failed . Make sense?
