MIM portal not able to connect from client machines RRS feed

  • Dear All,

    we are able to connect MIM portal from sharepoint servers. but when we tries to connect from client machine not able to connect.

    Need your help!

    Nosh speaks the truth we need more details. Can the you resolve the DNS name of the MIM Portal? Does it take you to the MIM Portal page and prompt for authentication? When is it failing?

    Error: FIM service could not be contacted Please contact your system administrator.

    But am able to connect from SharePoint servers

    I am able to access the MIM portal, but when I click on sets/workflows/user profile etc. getting "FIM service could not be contacted Please contact your system administrator" error.

  • The issue has been resolved :)

    SPNs were wrongly configured.
