help, i have tried (and failed) to install vista home premium on a dual boot with XP pro
a 250Gb sata hdd cut to 2x125Gb (aprox) partitions, XP on partition 1 (installed 1st) vista on 2
but it boots directly to XP no menu, UNLESS i have the vista install dvd in the dvd rom AND have dvd as 1st boot device but do not "press any key to boot from cd/dvd" then the boot menu appers.
i have reinstalled both from a clean reformat fresh install xp 1st then vista.
the vista partiton is a logical partition
what am i missing?
