Problems adding a GVLK license to a KMS server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

My KMS server is running and handing out licenses for Windows 7 Enterprise but I need to add a key for Office 2013.  I ran the Office 2013 volume license setup pack.  Then I added what should have been my KMS key according to the Licensing Center.  When I run slmgr /dlv I get a message, which I can't post here at the moment, which seems to be a combination of the Server license and the CSVLK of my volume license key that I could get to install.  I can't get the setup key to authenticate.  I've tried slmgr /upk <auth ID> to remove the CSVLK and start over but with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi Charles,

    >>I can't get the setup key to authenticate.

What do you mean by authenticate?

To activate the KMS server, run slmgr /ato.
