    Hello,

    I have a Windows 2008 Server and windows update service is disappeared from services. How can I make it active?

    Hi,

     

    I would like to suggest you export the following registry from another working Windows Server 2008 and import it to your server.

     

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\wuauserv

     

    Does it work?
