wss 2 to SP2010 Foundation RRS feed

    Our wss 2 wont upgrade: multiple failures, no clear path to get it fixed, too many possible issues, etc,

    instead I looking at creatinig a site with SP2010 Foundation.

    The wss 2 is internal and simple. 75MB.

    Can the db from wss 2 be imported to SP2010 Foundation?

    No. The path to Foundation 2010 is:

    WSSv2 SP3 -> WSSv3 SP2 -> Foundation 2010.

    Given the size, you might want to look at Metalogix Migrator, which is free for up to 25GB and would get you from WSSv2 to Foundation 2010 without having to go through the normal upgrade process.
