  • Hi Pradeep,

Browse to Central Administration > Application Management > Content Databases   select SSP admin site from the drop down and detach content DB

Now go to SQL server and move mdf and ldf files to new SQL server.

after moving to new SQL server restore the SSP database to new SQL server and run following command to attach it again to SSP admin site

    stsadm -o addcontentdb -url <SSP site URL> -dn <SSP DB name>

It will again make your SSP site up and running

follow the same step for My site DB.

Please let us know if this will be helpful.
