New Project from SharePoint List Option not appearing RRS feed

  • Hi All,

      As far as I know you can create a new project in Project server from items from a SharePoint list. For some reason that option is not appearing in my PWA, any idea why?

    You should have a "create project" button in the item tab of the ribbon. Can you see it?

  • I am using PS 2013. I have New in the Ribbon with options In Project Professional, Enterprise Project, SharePoint Task List and two of my custom templates. But no option to create a project from a list item, does that require some special configuration ?

  • Hi Syed,

    This is not doable from the project center, since it is not a sharepoint list. You have first to create a new custom list, adding columns corresponding to your project enterprise custom fields.
