about IU Update in MOSS

This question about infrastructure update for MOSS 2007. We are up to the version of SP3 (12.0.0.6608). I am not sure what IU Update is. If we are up to SP3, does it mean that we already installed IU update or yet to install
? . If so what IU I have to install.

Asking this question based on this forum (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/toddca/archive/2009/01/30/preparetomove-away-from-running-this-command.aspx). Please help
