How to change text of "Save Your Files" window? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We need to support our image in several languages.  Is there anyway to change the text of "Save Your Files" window - "The next time you log off of the computer or the computer restarts, all changes will be cleared from the hard disk.  Save your files to removable media to avoid losing your work."?

  • Hi Stinky Turbo, thanks for the post. I'd like to inform you that there is no interface to change the "Save your files" message. However, we can use third party tools to change the source code and bitmap of the Windows SteadyState file:

Important Note: Microsoft doesn’t  recommend  editing the source code of the program files. Improper changes may cause program or system corruption. The following steps are for your reference. Perform at your own risk.

You can refer to the following thread for detail steps:

Note: we need to load Bubble.exe in the tool and replace bitmap.

    Hope this helps!
