Change tracking setting on RD Broker Database RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I am a noob on the Remote desktop services. We have an issue where backups are not happening on the server and

DISK = N'\\\\usb-ss..." failed with the following error: "Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'sys.syscommittab' with unique index 'si_xdes_id'.
Failed to flush the commit table

When I searched on the internet, I see some are suggesting to turn off the Change tracking and Turn it on back.

Should the Change tracking be ON on the Database ?

Is it safe to turn it OFF and turn it ON later to see that fixes the issue ?

    Thanks and Regards,

    A

    Hi,

Based on my research, Change tracking is a lightweight solution that provides an efficient change tracking mechanism for applications.

I don't think that it would hurt to disable it for a while.
