Moving Databases in Different Drive RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

I am using Project Server 2013 SP1 - with latest updates

We are developing Disaster recovery environment which will be used for, if Production environment will have disaster then DR site will be up within seconds with same data replicated from Production environment.

I have installed MS SQL Server 2008 R2 in C: Drive and all databases are currently reside in the same drive.

Now I want to change from C: to D: Drive and all further Data & logs to be saved in D: Drive because C Drive won't replicate to DR environment due to Windows is installed on the same drive.

Please guide me, which databases to be transferred and their procedure to achieve DR environment readiness.

    Regards,

    Noman Sohail
